Park your car on top and take on the Fremont Lookout Trail. This stunning trail leads to a historic fire lookout, offering some of the most expansive views in the park, including Mount Rainier, distant peaks, and alpine meadows. The relatively gradual ascent makes it an accessible yet rewarding hike. It is about 5.6 miles round trip, ranked as a Moderate three hour hike.
Leave the park to grab lunch at Summit House Restaurant, the highest restaurant in Washington, offering incredible views and hearty fare. Spend some time exploring nearby trails or relaxing after the hike.
Return to the cabin to enjoy the last night of your getaway by the fire or stargazing if skies are clear.
Day 4
Pack up and bid farewell to your cabin. Depending on your flight time, consider a scenic detour on White Pass Scenic Byway (US-12) westward or quick visit to a local café before heading back to Seattle to fly home.
